The five rooms in the Tourist House Ghiberti B&B in the centre of Florence are spacious, comfortable and furnished in traditional Florentine style. On the walls the marvellous paintings by the contemporary artist Fabio Calvetti embellish the surroundings, plunging you tastefully and elegantly into the art and magical atmosphere that is Florence.
All of the rooms in the Tourist House Ghiberti are sound-proofed, non-smoking and have a large bathroom with tub or shower. The attention to detail is evident in every room: roomy beds, personal computer with internet, W-Fi connectivity, CD and DVD player, Plasma TV with bedside speakers and headphones for listening or viewing peacefully and silently. Our clients also have access to a library of DVDs in different languages. Next to the bed there are fibre optic lights, to illuminate your pleasant reading time and a telephone with a direct outside line and private number, enabling to you take calls directly in your room. It is always active for whatever the need. The room also has an electric kettle, with which to make tea, an infusion or an instant coffee, for that pleasing moment of relaxation following a tiring day visiting our stunning museums or doing some shopping.

Born in Certaldo (Prov. of Florence) in 1956, Fabio Calvetti received his Art School Diploma and then completed a course in painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. In 1995 he completed an internship with the Ecole de Beaux Arts di Le Port on the Island of Réunion He has had an intensive career abroad with exhibits in Germany, Belgium, France, the USA and Japan.
